We live very close to the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, so we see a lot of wildlife come through our yard. One day I was cleaning out the pantry and found a stale bag of leftover pecans. I tossed them onto our back deck for the birds and squirrels to fight over. It didn’t take long at all for this little dude to find them. And rather than stuff them in his cheeks and run off, he settled in and watched me watch him eat every one.
