My husband and I love catching the flowers in bloom at the Denver Botanic Gardens. This particular season, the roses were just popping off like crazy. Normally roses aren’t really my thing; I prefer irises or calla lilies. But this rose was one of my favorite flowers I saw that whole day. Complementary color palettes are some of my favorites, and these oranges and pinks against the deep blue sky were striking. Nature paints the best pictures.
